JOY BURSTS (Acrylic) _ 1
Inspired by celebrations, birthday wishes and the love you feel when you wait for your loved one to make their wish and blow out their candles… and the feeling of joy you hope for and feel in that celebratroy moment! This series was inspired by my sister Abbey. I made my first “JOY BURST” piece on August 25, 2022 when she was celebrating her 40th birthday that weekend. It was the last day of Jan Heaton’s watercolor class held at Anderson Ranch Art Center and we were all due to come together as a family that weekend. This piece is framed in a 20x20x2 acrylic frame and linen backed canvas. The watercolor is painted on Fabriano 300# cold press ultra bright white paper.
